Looking for a kosher snack for Passover? Here's a recipe for black olive rolls, a delightful little bite to share with the family!
Ingredients
2 cups of Matza flour (one cup = 150g)
4 beautiful eggs
1 cup of water
2 teaspoons of sugar
1/2 cup olive oil (or peanut oil)
1 teaspoon of fine salt
100g of sesame seeds
150g of coarsely chopped black olives
1 egg for brushing the rolls
Preparation :
Preheat the oven to 200°.
Meanwhile, boil the water with the sugar, salt, and oil.
Grind the matzah flour into the finest possible powder unless you already have some flour.
Gradually add the flour, then the liquid (even if still warm), then the eggs, and finally the olives. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Brush the mixture onto the loaves, which are sprinkled with sesame seeds. .
Form into balls.
Bake for 40 minutes at 200°.
