Here are some biscuits that many people ate during holidays like Purim; it's a quick recipe that you should definitely add to your favorites!
Ingredients :
200 grams of cold butter, cut into cubes or grated
120g of icing sugar (1 pack of 100g + 2 tablespoons)
250 grams of flour (2 cups minus 2 tablespoons)
an egg
Cookie cutters of your choice!
Jam / Nutella / Chocolate spread / Anything you want to put between the biscuits
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix the flour, powdered sugar and butter by hand for about a minute until you get a powder that resembles sand.
Add the egg and continue mixing until a smooth batter is obtained.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour to allow the butter to cool again.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Next, roll out the dough on a floured surface to a uniform thickness of about half a centimeter.
Trick: Flour both your work surface and the dough; this will help prevent the dough from tearing when you roll it out.
Another tip : for small workspaces at home, it is therefore more practical to divide the dough into 3 parts and work with each separately.
Bake for 8 to 9 minutes or until the biscuits begin to brown around the edges.
Sprinkle with icing sugar!
A cup corresponds to 250 ml when I mention "cup" in my recipes. Here are two tables that will help you with your conversions if you don't have a cup!
