A classic kosher chocolate cake for Passover
Ingredients for the dry mix:
½ cup of cocoa powder
½ cup of powdered sugar
1 cup of gluten-free multi-purpose flour (Kemah rav tahliti in the Passover or gluten-free section, see photo)
1 teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of baking soda
For the liquid mixture
4 eggs (L) or 5 (M)
a cup of sugar
¾ cup of oil
a cup of Shamenet cream 200 ml
Ingredients for the chocolate cream:
3/4 of sweetened cream
200 grams of dark/milk chocolate
Preparation method:
Heat the oven to 175 degrees and grease the pan with a little cooking spray.
In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients after sifting (cocoa, powdered sugar, multi-purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda).
In the bowl of the mixer, gradually beat the eggs and sugar to obtain a light and frothy mixture, add the oil then add the cream and continue to mix a little.
Add the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth paste is formed.
Pour into a baking pan and bake for about 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out with a few crumbs on it.
Prepare the chocolate cream in the microwave (cream and chocolate) and pour it over the cake.
May you have only sweet things in your life 😁
