This recipe can be made with slices of tilapia fillet or fresh salmon, in a delicious spicy red sauce. The fish cooks in the sauce for a while, but the taste is excellent!
Ingredients
5-6 slices of tilapia or salmon fillet
vinegar
Salt
For the sauce
4 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of sweet or hot paprika
Small dried chili pepper
1/4 teaspoon of turmeric
Salt
1/2 cup of oil
A bunch of coriander (as much as you like)
Red and green chilies (to taste)
Instructions
Soak the tilapia or salmon fillet for 5 minutes in a bowl of vinegar with salt. Rinse and set aside.
In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the garlic, paprika, chili, turmeric, salt, and oil until a red paste forms. Add to a large saucepan.

Chop the coriander and slice the chilies. Place half the amount of coriander and peppers in a large saucepan, arrange the fish on top, and then add another layer of coriander over the fish.
Add a little water to the pot to a level that won't make the fish sink 🙂
Cook over medium heat until the liquids evaporate and a rich sauce remains. The cooking time is very short, about fifteen minutes – during cooking, the pan should be shaken occasionally to prevent the fish from sticking to the bottom.
A cup corresponds to 250 ml when I mention "cup" in my recipes. Here are two tables that will help you with your conversions if you don't have a cup!
