INGREDIENTS

- 1 1/2 cups (190g) of flour
- 3/4 cup (170 g) of softened butter (or margarine)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of milk (or soy milk)
- 3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (60g) of chocolate chips
- Pecan nuts (for decoration) or chocolate chips
PREPARATION
1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
2. In a large bowl, beat together the sugar and butter. Beat until light and fluffy.
3. Add the vanilla extract, salt, and milk. Beat until smooth. Add the flour and stir until smooth. Add the chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
4. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
5. Shape the cookie dough into balls. Place on a baking sheet, flatten the cookies with a spoon and bake for about 15 minutes, until golden brown around the edges.
Remarks:
- Can I freeze the dough? Yes. You can freeze this cookie dough for up to 2 months.
- Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to one week.
