INGREDIENTS :
4 eggs
100g of potato starch
80 g of sugar
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
30g of margarine (or 30g of oil)
5 g of bicarbonate
1/8 of a glass of orange juice
1/2 pinch of cinnamon
1/2 pinch of salt.
Preparation :
Separate the egg yolks from the whites and place them in two separate containers.
Next, mix together all the dry ingredients: cornstarch, baking soda, and add a little orange juice to the center. Wait a bit and let it foam. Then add the margarine and cinnamon.
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar, and add to the bowl containing the potato starch mixture. Next, whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form, and gently fold the egg whites into the mixture.
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a Palestinian-style mold or a mold of your desired shape. Pour the liquid into the mold and bake for approximately 45 minutes. Unmold onto a wire rack when cool.
