For the dough:
Half a kilo of flour
One tablespoon of dry yeast
A tablespoon of salt
A tablespoon of sugar
A quarter cup of oil
One cup + 3/4 cup of lukewarm water
3 tablespoons of zahata
Preparation :
Knead everything into a nice ball and inflate until it doubles in volume.
Divide into 10 balls, cover and let rise for 10 minutes
Roll each ball and roll a baguette
Place each baguette on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Make incisions in the first baguette and so on using a sharp knife or razor blade, leaving some closed on the sides.
Inflate for about 10 minutes
Fill each loaf with zahata that we have mixed with olive oil and chopped garlic, to obtain a thick paste texture, brush beaten eggs over the rest.
Preheat the oven to 200° and bake until golden brown.
