Crispy and melt-in-your-mouth biscuits that every household will be happy to prepare with love.
They are made of a buttery crispy pastry on the outside and a soft pastry on the inside, filled with nuttella and walnuts.
It's a basic dough; its secret lies in the oil it contains, which contributes to its crispness, and the egg yolk which enriches it.
Quantity: 4 rolls – approximately 50 biscuits.
Use a 250ml cup for this recipe
Ingredients:
For the dough:
1/2 + 3 cups of flour
2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 sachet of baking powder
200g of softened butter or margarine
1/2 cup of orange juice
1/4 cup of oil
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 egg yolk
For the joke:
1 jar of Nutella (450 grams)
100 grams of roasted and finely chopped walnuts
Powdered icing sugar to sprinkle over the biscuits (optional)
Preparation:
In a large bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, salt and yeast and mix.
Add the softened butter (or margarine), orange juice, oil, vanilla extract, and egg yolk. Mix until a smooth paste forms.
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Place one piece of dough on parchment paper, place another piece of parchment paper on top and roll the dough between the two sheets of parchment paper into a long, thin rectangle.

Align the edges of the dough with a knife.
Spread a thin layer of Nutella over the dough. Sprinkle with a little chopped walnuts.
Roll the dough into a log (using parchment paper if your dough is too fragile) and place it in a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Prepare the rest of the dough in the same way.
Place the dough rolls in the refrigerator for half an hour or an hour.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Cut the rolls into biscuits (cut all the way through without separating the biscuits).
Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool completely. Separate the cookies from each other with your hands or with a knife.
Sprinkle the biscuits with icing sugar.
Note – You can store the biscuits in the freezer for up to two months, without powdered sugar.
A cup corresponds to 250 ml when I mention "cup" in my recipes. Here are two tables that will help you with your conversions if you don't have a cup!
