We still have some challah left over, and it is said that throwing away bread leads to poverty, but not only that, it is also wasteful and above all, an opportunity not to make this ultra-quick recipe which will be a good snack for the children!

Ingredients :
Two or three challahs or loaves of bread that you have left over.
300g of sugar
3 eggs
Soaked raisins
Two sachets of vanilla sugar
150g of butter
1/2 liter of milk
Icing sugar for the finish
Preparation :
Mix the eggs + sugar + vanilla + soaked raisins, and set aside.
Cut your bread into thick slices and soak these slices in milk.
Heat your pan, and add 20g of butter. .
Squeeze the slice of bread with your hand, dip it in the egg mixture and place it in the hot pan, cook on both sides and do the same with the other slices of bread.
Place your French toast in a dish sprinkled with icing sugar!
