Ingredients
- 2 glasses of oil
- 2 glasses of water
- 600g to 1kg of flour (depending on the flour, the dough should be pliable)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- Sesame seeds
Preparation steps
- Pour the oil and water into the bowl of your food processor fitted with the paddle attachment. Add the salt, sugar, and baking powder, then mix well.
- Gradually incorporate the flour until you obtain a soft dough. Caution: do not knead for too long to preserve the characteristic "broken" texture of the dough.
- Divide the dough into 5 equal balls. Flatten each one between two sheets of cellophane until it reaches a thickness of 3 mm.
- Prick the surface with a fork, then cut into squares using a knife.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the patties, then bake at 180°C (350°F) using the fan setting for 15 minutes. For a more golden brown finish, bake for an additional 10 minutes.
