Ingredients

  • 1 bag of dry biscuits (250 g)
  • 1 cup of milk (250 ml)
  • 50g of butter
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 200g of dark chocolate pieces

Preparation steps

  1. In a food processor, grind the biscuits until they reach a sandy texture. Pour the powder into a medium-sized bowl.
  2. In a small saucepan, pour the milk, add the butter, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, and chocolate. Place over low heat and heat, stirring regularly, until melted and smooth.
  3. Gently pour the chocolate mixture over the ground biscuits. Mix thoroughly until a smooth paste forms. Let it rest for about 10 minutes so the biscuits fully absorb the mixture.
  4. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, which will make it easier to form the balls.
  5. Remove the mixture from the refrigerator and shape into balls of the desired size using your hands or a spoon.
  6. Coat the balls with one of your favorite toppings: shredded coconut, colorful candies, ground nuts, ground pistachios, or any other gourmet decoration of your choice.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

For a pareve version (without milk or butter), replace the milk with 400 ml of coconut cream and increase the amount of biscuits to approximately 375 g (1 1/2 packs). The preparation remains exactly the same, and you'll get the same delicious result! You can also coat your balls in milk chocolate by melting 200 g of milk chocolate with a drizzle of castor oil for a luxurious finish.
