Ingredients
- 125g of dark chocolate bar
- 125 g of sugar
- 65 g of margarine
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1/4 cup of coffee
Preparation steps
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave.
- Incorporate the egg yolks one by one into the melted chocolate.
- Add the coffee, sugar, cornflour and very softened margarine, mixing until you obtain a smooth mixture.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the first mixture into the whipped egg whites.
- Pour into a greased mold and bake at thermostat 6 for 45 minutes.
For an even moister cake, only take it out of the oven when it's just set on top: the inside should remain gooey. You can prepare it the day before and store it at room temperature, wrapped in cling film.
