It took time for this precious recipe to finally be passed down. Between the warm advice of a mother who wanted it to live on and the patient teaching of a father during this beautiful Purim year, these honey cigars have regained all their splendor on your table. Delicious and irresistible, they tell a love story for good food, the kind that is shared and cherished.

Preparation steps
- Beat together the oil, water, salt, white vinegar, sugar and Alsatian yeast until you obtain a white, homogeneous and creamy mixture.
- Gradually add the necessary flour to form a light, supple, and not too soft dough.
- Make 250g balls, then shape them into sausages and cut into pieces the size of a ping-pong ball.
- Lightly oil your hands and flatten each small ball, then fill it with half a teaspoon of almond stuffing (made from a mixture of almond powder, sugar and orange blossom).
- Roll the cigar by gently folding down the corners to seal it well.
- Fry the cigars until they become golden and crispy.
- As soon as they are cooked, coat them generously with still-warm honey.
These cigars will keep for a few days in an airtight container and remain crisp. They're the perfect recipe for Purim or any family celebration—a wonderful opportunity to continue a delicious tradition passed down through generations!
