A British program that deals with the secrets of fast food chains has given its viewers a recipe that claims to be "the original" of the legendary Colonel Sanders.<\/p>\n
A British television presenter named Alexis Conran has created an intriguing new series called "Secrets of Fast Food Giants." One of the episodes, unsurprisingly, dealt with the KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) chain, in which the presenter questioned the chain's recipe, which is considered a closely guarded secret and, indeed, not in some mythological sense, very few people know in its entirety.<\/p>\n
\u00abThe original recipe is kept in a KFC vault, and I think maybe two or three people in the world have had full access to it,\u00bb explains a British branch manager he spoke with. \u00abHere in the UK, to ensure no one knows all the ingredients, the recipe is divided into two parts, and each part is transferred to a different factory, so no one knows exactly what the other part is doing.\u00bb<\/p>\n

The method for coating the chicken works as follows: soak the chicken in water, remove it, and while still in the water, shake it from side to side. Then, remove it and let the water drain for three seconds. Dip the chicken in the batter and spread the batter over it. Mix the chicken in the batter ten times. After mixing, press it seven times, then remove it from the batter, two pieces at a time, and place it in a net before frying.<\/p>\n
Over the years, numerous recipes have been published claiming to be the "hacked secret" of the fried chicken chain's special batter, but in 2016, the company addressed the issue and stated that no one had yet cracked Colonel Sanders' secret recipe.<\/p>\n
